CONRAC Columbus Airport

Project Description

The Columbus Airport CONRAC is a 4-story, 800,000 sq. ft. facility designed to centralize and modernize rental car operations for the Columbus Regional Airport Authority. Fire Seal’s work included spray-applied fireproofing, UL-rated firestop systems, and thermal spray foam insulation across the Ready/Return Garage, Quick-Turn Around (QTA) service areas, and integrated Customer Service Building (CSB). Fireseal’s work was executed in coordination with phased construction and multiple bid packages to meet an accelerated schedule on this high-traffic, infrastructure-critical site. With capacity for 2,300 vehicles, future skybridge integration, and LEED-based sustainability features, CONRAC enhances both passenger experience and operational scalability for future airport demand.
