OSU Postle Hall

Fire Seal provided fireproofing services for the major renovation and expansion of OSU’s Postle Hall, home to the College of Dentistry. The project replaced the eastern wing of the original building with 130,000 sq. ft. of new, state-of-the-art clinical and educational space, enabling a 10% increase in annual dental student admissions. Fire Seal applied spray-applied fireproofing throughout the structural steel framework, ensuring code-compliant fire resistance for areas housing advanced pre-clinical simulation labs, group practice clinics, ambulatory surgery units, radiology facilities, and new instructional spaces. Our work helped support the university’s goal of modernizing health science education while maintaining strict safety standards in a healthcare learning environment.
