 Fire Seal provided firestopping services for the new University Hospitals Amherst Medical Office Building, a state-of-the-art ambulatory surgery center and clinical facility. The campus includes operating rooms, a procedure room, and six recovery-focused Stay Suites as part of ValueHealth’s Muve program. Fireseal installed UL-compliant firestop systems at penetrations and joints throughout surgical and patient care areas, supporting the building’s life safety systems in alignment with healthcare code requirements. The ASC specializes in orthopedic and spine procedures, with capacity for 800 joint replacement cases annually, along with ENT and pain management services.
