The Central Ohio Behavioral Health facility in Columbus, Ohio features 100,000 square feet of additional space, 208 patient beds across eight secure units—each with its own intensive care suite—alongside dedicated spaces for wellness, including three secured outdoor courtyards, an indoor gym, meditation rooms, and art therapy spaces. To support the State of Ohio’s mission to expand behavioral health care across the region, Fire Seal installed UL-rated firestop systems at all wall and floor penetrations and construction joints to protect life safety and maintain compartmentalization in this high-risk occupancy environment.
