The Warehouse & Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for organizing and maintaining the warehouse/shop and supplies, as well as maintaining & repairing the company equipment and maintenance logs for all the machines and company vehicles.
Responsibilities & Duties:
· Inspect, test, troubleshoot, repair, and deploy mixers & sprayer equipment
· Deliver equipment and materials to job sites
· Maintain warehouse inventory and equipment
· Monitor equipment to detect malfunctions
· Perform light maintenance on company vehicles
· Receive incoming deliveries
· Discuss machine operation variations with the supervisor or other team members to diagnose problems and repair machines
· Install, repair, or replace electrical devices such as transformers, relays, circuit breakers, starters and safety and limit switches
· Service and repair material handling equipment
· Assist operators with troubleshooting and training of equipment and processes.
· Overlook and troubleshoot all water distribution systems
· Follow established preventative maintenance guidelines
· Perform all necessary maintenance and update logs as necessary
· Report major problems to supervisor
· Coordinate with other departments to schedule maintenance for machines
· Monitor inventory and assist in the order of parts and materials
· Maintain preventative maintenance to establish the reliability of equipment
· Ensure proper adherence to all safety and government guidelines
· Identify safety issues with machines; document issues; develop an action plan to resolve concern; follow-up to ensure problems are resolved
· Monitor machines and help to ensure all levels are within EPA, OSHA, and other government guidelines; develop an action plan to resolve the issue if not; follow-up to ensure problems are resolved
Qualifications:
· Must have 2-3 years mechanical and electrical knowledge
· Must be at least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the United States
· Must have VALID driver's license and clean driving record
· Must be able to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
